Apprenticeship Success Recognised at Carlisle College Awards
On the 19th of March, the Early Careers and Apprenticeships team attended the Carlisle College Apprenticeship Awards, an event celebrating the achievements of apprentices and the organisations that support them.
Nell Johnston, Business Administration Apprentice with the Safer Communities team, was named as ‘Best Newcomer’, reflecting the great start she has made in her role. Special recognition was also given to Richard Quinn, Nell’s mentor, for his outstanding support underlining the important role that mentors play in helping apprentices to develop and succeed. Speaking of the award, Richard said “Nell has made an outstanding start to her apprenticeship and has become an integral part of the community safety team. I am delighted that her hard work and professionalism both in the workplace and college are recognised through this award.”
